The Way of the Dream

Now I often talk of how it is for us when we wake into the dream of our daily lives from the real expression of who we are when we leave this daily illusion and apparently sleep.

To begin with I would like to share the series of films made of Dr Marie-Louise Von Franz in 1987. They are in four parts and are taken from You Tube.

Then I will discuss how these key elements relate to accessing elements of true self to build a clear foundation in our waking illusion called life.

Charlie Chaplin who lived a few yards away here in Kennington from where I live. What a speach and, as my good and dear friend says 'I leave it with you' Cheers David

Charlie Chaplin The Greatest Speech Ever Made.

I am sorry but I don't want to be an emperor. That's not my business I don't want to rule or conqueror anyone I should like to help everyone if possible Jew Gentile Blackman White . We all want to help one another human beings are like that. We want to live be each other's happiness not by each other's misery.
We don't want to hate and despise one another. In this life there's room for everyone and the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone. The way of life can free and beautiful but we have lost the way. Greed has poisoned men's souls has barricaded the world with hate has goose stepped us into misery and bloodshed. We have developed speed but we have shut ourselves in. The machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical our, cleverness hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery we need humanity more than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities life would be violent and all will be lost. The aeroplane and the radio have brought us closer together but in nature of these inventions cries out for the goodness in men cries out for universal brotherhood for the unity of us all. Even now my voice is reaching millions throughout the world , millions of despairing men women and little children victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent people.

For those of you who can hear me I say do not despair . The misery that is upon us is but the passing of greed. The bitterness of men who ear the way of human progress . The hate of men of will pass and the dictators die and the power that they took from the people will return to the people and so long as men die liberty will never perish.

Soldiers don't turn yourself to brutes men who despised you and slayed you who regiment your lives tell you what to do what to think and what to feel. Who drill you ,diet you, treat you like cattle and use you as cannon fodder. Don't give yourself to these unnatural men, machine men the machine minds the machine hearts you are not machines you are not cattle you are men you have the love of humanity in your hearts you don't have you don't hate the unloved and the unnatural.

Soldiers don't fight for slavery fight for liberty. In the 17th chapter of Luke it is written 'the kingdom of god is within man no one man not a group of men but in all men .' You the people have the power the power to create machines to create happiness you the people have the power to make this life free and beautiful to make this life a wonderful adventure. In the name of democracy let us use that power. Let us unite let us fight for a new world a decent world that will give men a chance to work that will give you a future and in old age security in the promise of these things brutes have risen to power but they lie they do not fulfil their promise they never will.

Dictators free themselves but they enslave the people now let us fight to fulfil that promise let us fight to free the world to do away with national barriers to do away with greed, with hate and intolerance let us fight for a world of reason where science and progress will lead to all men's happiness . Soldiers in the name of democracy let us all unite.

Interview with Carl Jung and now, on watching this, alot of the elements of my nearly sixty year life are much clearer to me.

Many people around the world are looking for meaning in their lives and the lives of those who are close to them. At times the journey can feel isolating with a sense of isolation operating at different levels through intellectual challenges as well as a heartfelt sense of isolation from those around us.

The emergence of the power of caring in our adult lives is an ongoing process with many twists and turns along the pathway of our lives.

Have you asked questions in your life to find out who you can be? You read, you ask, you listen. Who am I and how can I express what I know and feel? I want to tell you about how you can life your life, how your life can be and then I'll ask you one question. Which of your lives do you want to choose?
Think about it.
